Bone Conduction Technology
What is Bone Conduction Technology?
Bone conduction technology converts sound into mechanical vibrations transmitted through the skin and temporal bone to the cochlea, bypassing traditional air conduction transmitters like the external auditory canal or eardrum.
This allows for crisp, clear sound reproduction even in noisy environments and eliminates the need to spread sound waves through the air, reducing the potential impact on others.

Samvek and Bone Conduction Technology
Pioneering Change in the Industry
Samvek has spearheaded the advancement of bone conduction technology within the consumer electronics sector, recognizing the growing demand for heightened situational awareness in today's fast-paced world. Through extensive research and development efforts, we have successfully integrated bone conduction technology into our products, offering users a unique listening experience that seamlessly blends top-notch audio performance with environmental awareness. This groundbreaking innovation has truly transformed the way individuals enjoy music, especially in situations where being aware of one's surroundings is paramount, such as outdoor activities or daily commutes.
Inspired by Real-World Challenges
The visionaries at Samvek were quick to recognize the potential of bone conduction technology for enhancing situational awareness. However, they also acknowledged the shortcomings of existing medical-grade bone conduction solutions, which often suffered from subpar sound quality and excessive vibration. To address these issues head-on, our engineers took an unconventional approach to enhance the audio fidelity of our headphones. By refining the transducer design and incorporating additional vibration dampening elements, such as specialized springs, they succeeded in delivering a more immersive and dynamic auditory experience.
One of our engineers stumbled upon a breakthrough revelation from an unexpected source. While using a vibrating electric toothbrush at a certain angle during his daily routine, he noticed that sound was transmitted through his teeth and temporal bone with minimal vibration. Drawing inspiration from this observation, the team experimented with positioning the transducer at a 30-degree angle against the skin. This strategic adjustment significantly increased the contact surface area while simultaneously reducing vibration, ultimately leading to the development of our proprietary Samvek PremiumPitch 2.0+ technology.
